Berikyuu! Episode 12: Dance Like You Want To Win!Having broken away from the studio hell of those stupid challenges, maybe Berikyuu! will improve? Maybe there’ll be something substantial or at least fun involved? Ahh… who cares? Give me my jailbait eyecandy and I’ll be happy.

Berikyuu! Episode 11: At Wii’s EndAt last, the end of the Wii challenge episodes! And this time, I’ll cut the sexual innuendo to a minimum!

Berikyuu! Episode 10: Back For MoreWhy why why? Why stick around with examining this series when I’m so far behind? What is it about Berikyuu! that has a hold on me, that fascinates me so much that I must go back ages upon ages (okay, just a few weeks) to examine it?

Berikyuu! Episode 9: More Of The Same CrapI know there’s a light at the end of the tunnel - just a few more episodes of this stupid Wii challenge and we can move on to other stupid stuff in other episodes. In all seriousness, what the hell were the people behind this show thinking when they planned the episodes?

Berikyuu! Episode 8: Erika Takes A TurnSo when last we left off, it was Erika’s turn and… oh, yeah. That’s why I stopped.

Berikyuu! Episode 7: Saki At BatAt this point, all that’s keeping me going through these reviews is a great deal of spite and unresolved horniness for certain H!P Kids. That means I can only last for… what? Seven, eight more years?

Berikyuu! Episode 6: The Star Finally ShinesSo the third week’s Berikyuu! began today, but I still have all the week two episodes to catch up on. Luckily, they’ve finally brought out the real star of the show and different kind of challenges from week one, so I’m actually pretty excited!

The H!P Kids Are Alright 11: RayIf you want something truly depressing to think about: celebrating ten years of Hello! Project, there hasn’t been a successful long-term solo artist in the decade of its existence. The ones who once were successful - Ayaya and Gocchin, for starters - have seen sales and popularity plummet. (Ayaya has been smart enough to move on to be an all-purpose geinou.) Those who wished to be more independent and have more control - Ichii Sayaka and Heike Michiyo, for starters - have fared even worse outside of H!P. There has been no Hamasaki Ayumi or Amuro Namie or Seiko Matsuda to emerge from H!P yet.

The H!P Kids Are Alright 10: HenkkaI think neither Berryz Koubou or C-ute will ever rise from the shadow of Morning Musume. Not very easily anyway. Unfortunate for fans of these groups, I know, but I believe this to be the truth.
Ray suggested two things that could perhaps make it possible: having an enormous hit, or moving from H!P to either TNX or NGP. Personally I don’t see the latter working.
